Introduction
The N20 gearmotor is widely used in micro robotics due to its small size (just 20mm diameter) and high torque output thanks to the planetary gear reduction. The metal gearbox provides superior durability compared to plastic gear motors, making it suitable for line following robots, obstacle avoidance cars, and other Arduino robotic projects. Each motor comes with a rubber tire mounted on the D-shaft output.

Caution
- Do not exceed 9V — may damage the motor windings.
- Use a motor driver (L298N, L293D, TB6612, or MOSFET H-bridge) — do NOT connect directly to Arduino pins.
- Add flyback diodes across the motor terminals to protect the driver from voltage spikes.
- Avoid stall conditions for more than a few seconds — high current can overheat the motor.
- The shaft is not designed for axial loads — use proper mounting.
