Overview
The MAX98357 I2S Class D Amplifier Breakout is a compact, high-efficiency mono audio amplifier module based on the Maxim Integrated MAX98357A IC. It accepts I2S digital audio input directly no analog conversion needed and drives a 4 or 8 speaker at up to 3.2W output power. With up to 92% efficiency and built-in filterless output, this module runs cool without a heatsink, making it ideal for embedded audio projects with ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other I2S-capable platforms.

Caution
- ต่อ mono speaker เท่านั้น ไม่ใช่ stereo หากต้องการ stereo ซื้อ 2 บอร์ด ตั้ง SD pin เป็น L/R แต่ละชิ้น
- ห้ามต่อหูฟังโดยตรง BTL output ไม่มี ground reference อาจเสียหาย
- ใช้กับลำโพง 4 หรือ 8 เท่านั้น อิมพีแดนซ์ต่ำกว่านี้ทำให้ IC ร้อนเกิน
- ไม่มี volume control บนบอร์ด ปรับ volume ผ่าน software (I2S driver)
- ต้องการสัญญาณ I2S เท่านั้น ไม่รองรับ analog audio input
- แนะนำใส่ decoupling capacitor 100F ใกล้ VIN เพื่อป้องกัน noise จากไฟ
